Share Your Story with Ukraine Europe Dispatch

We are an editorial voice for the Ukrainian diaspora in Europe. Our readers rely on us for news, culture, and the real texture of life abroad. That means we depend on you: the people living it.

If you have a personal story, a community update, or an event that matters to Ukrainians across the continent, we want to see it. We do not publish everything, but we read every submission carefully.

What We Look For

We want concrete, specific pieces. Think about what you would tell a friend over coffee, not a press release. A good submission answers: Why does this matter to our readers right now?

We are especially interested in:

  • Personal narratives from diaspora members: moving, working, studying, volunteering, or raising a family in Europe.
  • Community news from local Ukrainian organizations, cultural centers, churches, or volunteer groups. Tell us about an initiative, a problem you solved, or a project that needs help.
  • Event announcements that are open to the public. Include dates, locations (city and country), a contact point, and a short description. We prefer events with a clear cultural, educational, or charitable angle.

How to Submit

Send your draft to our editorial team via the contact form on the site. Paste your text into the message body, or link to a Google Doc. Please include:

  • A working headline (we may edit it).
  • Your full name and the city or region you are writing from.
  • If reporting on an organization or event, your role or connection to it.

What Happens Next

I read every submission myself. If your piece fits our editorial calendar and tone, I will respond within two weeks. We may edit for length, clarity, or style. You will get a chance to review the final version before we publish.

We do not pay for submissions. This is a volunteer-driven publication, and your contribution helps keep the community connected.

No opinion pieces, please. No political endorsements. No commercial promotions. We cover the diaspora’s life in Europe, not campaigns.

Send us your story. That is how this site stays real.
